Terms
and Conditions....at AutoBulbsOnline....
1) If you purchase a
product
or products from us or continue to view the
website you will be subject to these terms and conditions and agree to
be bound to these terms and conditions.
1.1) The information
below refers to the agreement between “we” or “us” meaning
AutoBulbsOnline and
“you” the customer.
1.2) Terms and conditions can often appear confusing or strongly
worded, if you
do not understand anything please feel free to contact us for further
clarification.
2) Ordering
2.1) All orders taken on
this
site and done so using Paypal payment processing
which accept all major credit cards (we do not hold or have access to
any of your payment card information).
2.2) Confirmation of your order will be
delivered to your email address within 24hrs of ordering at which time
a formal
contract exists between you the customer and us.
2.3) Please ensure that when
entering your address at checkout you are careful to check the address
for
delivery is correct.
2.4) The goods purchased from us will be delivered to the
address entered unless we are notified within the payment details in
the form of a note.
2.5) We hold stocks of all products offered on the website, if a
product becomes
out of stock we will update the website as soon as possible to reflect
this. In
the event that you the customer purchases an item that is out of stock
for any
reason we will contact you via email and alert you to this. We will
then offer
you the opportunity to obtain an immediate refund or to place the order
on wait
until the item becomes available.
3) Pricing
3.1) The price payable for
items bought on the website is displayed to the
customer when placing the order.
3.2) Any purchase using the website does not form a
contract between the customer and us until the customer receives a
confirmation
email indicating acceptance of the customers order. This protects us in
the
event that products have been incorrectly priced or the website
malfunctions.
4) Dispatch and Delivery
4.1) All prices on the
website include free worldwide delivery unless stated
otherwise.
4.2) The majority of orders are despatched the same working day the
order is
received, where this is impractical or the order is processed after the
final
mailing that day they will be dispatched the next working day.
4.3) All orders over
the value of £15 are sent by recorded delivery in the UK. All
orders over the
value of £50 are sent by special delivery in the UK.
4.4) All orders outside of the
UK are sent by Airmail.
4.5) Where a large order is placed for delivery outside of
the UK we reserve the right to contact you to confirm delivery details
and
place the order on hold until we have successfully communicated with
you to our satisfaction.
4.6) The majority of orders within the UK are received within one or
two working
days following ordering (unless Royal Mail strike action exists).
4.7) Please allow a week before contacting us about non-delivery.
4.8) Prior to contacting us
please check with your neighbours and in any outbuildings you may have.
We will
then provide you with the Royal Mail tracking number and ask that you
contact
your local sorting office to ask about this.
4.9) If your package fails to arrive
within ten working days (UK only) from dispatch we will then send you a
replacement
package on the basis that you return any package should it turn up at a
later
time. If you fail to contact us and return a lost order that turns up
later (after we have replaced this) we will invoice you in full for
this order and ask for immediate payment.
4.10) We ask that you help facilitate the claim that we will made to
Royal Mail
by replying promptly to any correspondence from Royal Mail asking for
the
confirmation of non-delivery.
4.11) Any packages that are not able to be delivered by Royal Mail and
are
returned to the sorting office must be collected by you within a week
or the
package will be returned to us. In this case we will ask for a
reposting cost
to enable the package to be sent out again once it has been returned to
us by
Royal Mail.
4.12) If the package being delivered to you in the UK is seriously
damaged please
refuse to accept the item and it will be returned to us and email us.
4.13) In the event that
minor damage has occurred to the exterior of the package please note
this when
signing for it on the Royal Mail documentation by detailing "package
damaged".
5) Bulb Fitments
5.1) Please ensure that
you
remove the old bulbs from your vehicle and visually
compare these to the bulbs supplied by us prior to removing the
protective
packaging and/or breaking any seal on the new bulbs.
6) Bulb Fitting
6.1) Please ensure that
appropriate care is taken when fitting bulbs. It is the
your responsibility to check all items for damage to the glass or
fittings
prior to attempting to fit them to the vehicle and you must ensure that
the bulbs are fitted by a qualified person.
6.2) We will not be
held liable to any damage caused to any vehicle as a result of the use
of these
products. In this instance the customer will be furnished with the
details of
the manufacturer to whom them may correspond.
6.3) The customer must ensure that the glass of the bulbs is not
touched during
the fitting and no grease/dirt or liquid is able to come in contact
with the
bulb
while fitting.
7) Returns & Faulty
Items
7.1) Any items that are
declared faulty on arrival by the customer must be
returned to us at which point we will inspect the product and will
confirm the
defect.
7.2) We will then dispatch an identical or similar product to the
customer
as a replacement (if the product is not identical we will contact the
customer
first to agree upon the replacement product).
7.3) We reserve the right to submit
any returned products to the manufacturer for inspection. If the
manufacturer
determines that the product was damaged in some way by miss-use then we
will
invoice you for the replacement parts as supplied previously.
7.4) We will accept returns where the product is unopened and still
sealed and
can be offered for resale. You must ensure that the product is
protected in
transit and returned to us using a minimum of recorded delivery. You
are
responsible for the items until they have been returned and inspected
by us.
7.5) Please contact us for a returns number prior to returning any
product.
7.6) All free gifts must be returned unused if returning other
products. Any free gifts not returned will be charged for at full price.
7.7) In accordance with distance selling regulations we will accept
back unopened bulbs for a refund but please note we deduct the cost of
the postage from the refund that was charged by the Royal Mail post
office. We do not charge anything additional for the restocking or
packaging used.
7.8) If you purchase the incorrect fitment of bulbs and want to
exchange them and they are in unopened condition we will charge or
refund any difference in the product prices but will make an additional
charge for the re-posting. This addtional charge is the cost of the
postage charged by the Royal Mail post office.
8) Performance Bulbs
8.1) Please ensure that
before ordering you are happy with the claims made by the manufacturer
in terms of lighting power and claimed increase in power. You must note
that a bulb claimed as +50% will produce up to 50% more light depending
on the car, lense, alignment etc. The same is true for different %
upgrades. We can address any concerns with our service to you, however
you agree to contact the manufactuer of the lighting unit if you have
any queries or concerns as to the specific increase in light / colour
of light being delieved by the lighting unit.
8.2) You accept when ordering that generally a performance upgrade has
a shorter life than a standard replacement bulb due to the increased
light output. Where you report a fault and we judge that the lifetime
of the bulb has expired we reserve the right to ask you to contact the
manufactuer of the item and not provide replacements.
9) Free Gifts
9.1) We reserve the right to provide only one free gift
for every order placed over the value of £10, this does not mean
one free gift for every £10 spent.
9.2) We reserve the right to not supply further free gifts where you
have already received one free gift in any consecutive 30 days (please
do not make multiple small orders to attempt to receive multiple free
gifts).
9.3) Where possible we supply free gifts to match bulbs, so if you buy
one pair of H1 bulbs and one pair of H4 bulbs, these are for two sets
of lights so we generally include two free gifts. However this is at
our discretion.
9.4) All customers with puchases over £10 will get a free gift
9.5) All customer buying X-Treme Philips bulbs will receive Philips
Blue Vision W5W sidelights. All other orders will be supplied with Ring
W5W Ice Blue sidelight bulbs. This offer is valid where stock last, if
we run out of one brand of sidelight we reserve the right to provide
another.
9.6) If you ask for a second free gift to be supplied after dispatch
(and you have purchased two of more sets of headlight bulbs) of
your main order we ask you to pay for the postage of the second free
gift. If you are placing a large order and wish to have more than one
pair of free sidelights please indicate so at the time of ordering
(using the note/message section of the payment processor form).
10) Website Links
10.1) Any links shown on
our
website to external sites are provided for
information purposes only and we will not be held responsible for these
sites.
In the case of bulbs fitment checkers, we will not be held responsible
if
incorrect information leads to the wrong order being placed, however
you are
able to return the items meeting the laid out conditions as detailed in
the
returns conditions above.
10.2) Please ensure you check your car manual or remove an
existing bulb to determine the correct fitment before ordering with us.

11.1) We accept no
liability
with regard to your use of this website.
11.2) We will not
be held responsible for any damage caused either directly or indirectly
to
yourself or your employers. This includes the effect of any viruses
that may
directly or indirectly be transmitted from this websites or emails or
those that
host or
maintain it.
